OPEN DEBATE

Nowadays it seems that innovation is a “must”; it does not matter how big you are, if you are a company, a research centre or a university.
In a European university framework traditionally focused on basic research and academic publishing, readdressing priorities and adding a “commercial” edge is proving a real challenge.
Are we on the right track? Are we pushing universities too far?
